Great location, close to old town

Not one thing.

A small, very comfortable and clean b&b situated in a modern (mid- century?) building only a couple blocks away from Michelin star restaurants and a comfortable walk to Lecces historic areas and main tourist attractions. The b&b host, Caterina, was very friendly and helpful and served nice italian style breakfasts (her cappuccinos were especially delicious!). We saw there were some cheaper B&Bs in Lecce, but we find that its almost always worth it to spend slightly more money for a good b&b experience, as was the case with 300Mila (though still very cheap! We paid 75 euros per person and night...). Would definitely recommend this b&b!

The B&B was well located close to Piazza Mazzini and an easy walk to the historic centre. Stefano and Caterina were wonderful hosts-Stefano even came to pick us up from the bus station at 8.15pm as we were an hour late after a long trip from Sicily. He made a recommendation for dinner and phoned to reserve a table for us at Alle Due Corsi. It was a very enjoyable meal with a classic Puglian menu. Our room was spotless & spacious with an effective air conditioner. The breakfast was great and opened onto the terrace -a wonderful place to relax especially in the afternoon. There was a generous supply of bottled water, tea, coffee and sweets available in the dining room all day. Stefano & Caterina made us feel very welcome and Caterina gave us some freshly picked cherries from her mother's garden to take with us when we left. Thank you both for such hospitality -a memorable travel experience.

Excellent service, great location and comfortable rooms. the staff offered to pick us up and return us to the station which was a great help. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city and within walking distance of all the key attractions. We really appreciated the refreshments provided in the room and the breakfast was a real treat.

The hot water in the shower was not always reliable and the room was quite noisy due to the traffic outside.

The owner Stephan was very friendly, gracious, the food was excellent. Room was pleasant and large, good a/c system, WiFi, nice tv. We were given help to understand the public parking system in Lecce (Stephan saved us from getting a parking ticket!), and he made arrangements for us to leave our bags for 6 hours past check-out so we didn't have to leave the bags in the car while we went sight-seeing. He also made reservations for us in two restaurants. Excellent b&b!

Probably the last real b&b in Italy where Caterina and Stefano will do absolutely everything to make you feel welcome. The best location in town together with an amazing breakfast with home made desserts freshly baked by Caterina will make your holiday worthwhile. And do ask Stefano where to have lunch and/or dinner, he has the best tips ever! Il migliore b&b della Puglia!

We loved staying in this city center hotel - it was easy to walk everywhere in the historical center. The staff were really friendly and even let us store our bags before check-in. Our room was very clean and had a balcony. We also enjoyed the delicious pastries and coffee provided for breakfast.

The B&B is well situated, just outside the old city, so it's easy to get there if you drive a car (the old town itself is restricted to cars - Zona Traffico Limitato). Walking to the old town is a matter of minutes, as Lecce is quite small. This is a city B&B, on the second floor of a big building. Once inside, it feels very homy, with a nice breakfast/lounge room and an adequate balcony (we made our lunch there). The Marcucci family makes you feel very welcomed. They are very attentive to your every needs. For instance, during our stay, one of the guests was very sick and Stefano took her to the hospital. They also speak relatively good english which was convenient for us.

The bathroom - and especially the shower - were very small. But then again, I am a fairly tall man, so it might not be an issue for everyone. Also, the mattress was uncomfortable (as I felt the springs very much.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way possible. the room boasted luxurious amenities, such as a private balcony and complimentary drinks. the in-room breakfast service was fantastic and the private facilities were impeccable. the location was very convenient, situated in close proximity to the shopping areas.

The only minor issue I faced was some noise from the street, but this was easily solved by closing the windows. I recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenient location.

Caterina went out of her way to make us welcome - tray of refreshments when we arrived, drinks always available, dish of sweets in room. The room itself was spacious and we had our own large bathroom. Lovely breakfast. Excellant location. Couldn't have wished for more.

The hotel's location was fantastic for exploring the city during my Easter stay. It was within walking distance of key attractions and transport links. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and high-speed Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the friendly staff and their willingness to offer local recommendations.

While the breakfast was decent, it lacked variety and imagination. It was a typical continental breakfast, so nothing to complain about, only it could be more interesting.
